Stripped of his power, the enraged fallen angel, Lucifer, burns with one desire—the destruction of God's prized creation—mankind. Fearing God’s promise of a Savior, Lucifer devises a carefully crafted plan using a child destined for greatness—a child named Herod.   Some 30 years later, in the midst of civil war, Herod is the general of Jerusalem's army.  Though love entwines his heart, greed begins to steer his ambitions, while something darker stirs within.
